Mission Statement

As believers, we pledge our lives to bless and honor God and our Savior, Jesus Christ, by being a Christian witness to our community and the world through ministry, prayer, teaching, and service.

We Believe

-In almighty God, the Father, who is our creator and the creator of all things.

-Because of whom He is and what He has done, God deserves our worship and our praise. He is our creator, our healer, our redeemer, our strength, our provider, our peace, our righteousness, and even more.

-In Jesus Christ as the Son of God and He is our Lord and Savior.

-Jesus was born of a virgin, was crucified, and died for the sins of all who trust in Him.

-Jesus was resurrected from the grave, lives today, and sits at the right hand of our God.

-Jesus is the only way to salvation and eternal life through faith in Him.

-Jesus is coming again to judge the living and the dead.

-Because He is our creator God, we are called to seek Him. He died for us and gave us His Holy Spirit; therefore, we must seek to know Him through study, payer, and spiritual disciplines. We are called to be living examples to this world in which we live.

-In the Holy Spirit, the third member of the Holy Trinity. Because He indwells all believers, in His power we are able to live out the life that we were created for, both as individuals and the Church.

-The gifts of the Spirit are active in believers today and are for the building up of the body of Christ.

-The body of Christ should be a loving community of God’s people working together to carry His message and obediently carry out His commands to all.

-That we are called to be a witness of God’s unconditional love (agape) to our families, friends, neighbors, and to all we come in contact with.

-The Bible is the living Word of God. The Bible is given for encouragement, teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.

-The Word of God applies to all aspects of life, as our guide and example for living.

-In the spiritual disciplines of meditation, prayer, fasting, study, simplicity, solitude, submission, service, confession, worship, guidance, giving, unconditional love (agape), and celebration.

-In the power of prayer to change lives and circumstances, as a means of developing a deeper relationship with God and of gaining direction for our lives.

-That the term “marriage” has only one legitimate meaning, and that is marriage sanctioned by God, which joins one man and one woman in a single, covenantal union as delineated by Scripture. Marriage ceremonies performed in any facility or space owned, leased, or rented by this Church will be only those ceremonies sanctioned by God, joining one man with one woman as their genders were determined at birth. Whenever there is a conflict between the Church’s position and any new legal standard for marriage, the Church’s statement of faith, doctrines, and biblical positions will govern.

-We believe that God creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, unchangeable genders together reflect the image and nature of God, and the rejection of one’s biological gender is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

-That God ordained marriage and family and that children are a gift from God.

-God has placed the responsibility upon the husband to be the spiritual head of the household. He is called to give his family every opportunity to grow in the love and knowledge of God. We know that, in this imperfect world, there are single parent households, where others will accept this leadership role. We know God will give wisdom and grace to those who accept this role.

-That God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that He continues to love, forgive, heal, and restore broken humanity. He is faithful to His promise that He will never forsake us. Although we may not always understand what is happening around us, and we may not always see Him working, we will trust Him.

-We are called to Pastor to all people, and all are welcome in our body of believers.

-As believers, we should strive for growth toward God and His word, whether the world agrees with it or not.
